ADHD: Diagnosis and Treatment
Tuesday, March 18, 7-8:30 p.m.
Attention-deficit/hyperactive disorder (ADHD) is a chronic disorder that affects millions of American children. ADHD can persist into adulthood and is associated with inattention, hyperactivity and impulsive behavior. Jawed Bharwani, MD, will define ADHD and discuss the terminology and etiology. He will also discuss what you can expect from your doctor during the diagnostic process and the variety of treatment options that are available. Dr. Bharwani is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with BryanLGH Heartland Psychiatry.
