Dawes Middle School Extramural/Intramural Expectations

1. Come to practice, learn the skills, earn playing time
   
2. Visit with the coach if you can't be at practice.
   
3. If you are late for practice, have a pass.
   
4. Plan ahead, please make arrangements to walk home, or have your ride pick you up, as soon as practice is over. Bus riders will ride activity bus home.
   
5. Good sportsmanship is the expectation of all Dawes Middle School Athletes. Unsportsman like conduct at practices, games, toward teammates, referees, coaches or other teams, may result in removal form the activity.
   
6. Students on suspension or placed in-school suspension can participate in extramurals ONLY after the student has returned to regular classes.
   
7. You are a student-athlete. Your classroom responsibilities come first. Honor your commitments with your teachers after school, and keep your grades up!
   
8. Come to gym with everything you need to take home. You will not be allowed to go back to your lockers.
   
9. All athletes are expected to abide by the rules outlined in the LPS Rights and Responsibilities.
   
10. Practices are for athletes only, please do not have friends, or family member waiting for you outside or inside the gym.
    
11. You are expected to leave school grounds as soon as practice is over. Continuous violation of this may result in removal from the team.
