Lockers and Lock Policy

Already this year, we have had several students reporting that their lock is missing off of their locker. Here are a few suggestions for students and parents.

· Lockers are assigned to students at the beginning of the year.
· Never leave your lock on the floor unattended.
· Never leave your lock ?hanging? on the handle, always lock your lock.
· Students are not to share lockers or cause damage to the lockers.
· Any locker change must be approved in the counseling center.
· If the combination lock is lost, damaged or stolen, there will be a $5.00 replacement charge, (these locks are school property). This will be enforced!
· If lockers or combinations are shared with others, there is little security in a school locker.
· Personal items of value should never be brought to school. Recovery of stolen items is very difficult.
· Encourage your child to routinely clean out their locker and bring home all clothing and materials not needed at school.
· Remind your child that cans, bottles and glass are not allowed in lockers.
