Visiting is a great opportunity to see in-depth everything Arts & Humanities has to offer you.

It’s Tuesday and time for your daily dose of Student Vote Trivia! What year did African Americans gain the full right to vote in the United States? Give up? Well, the Voting Rights Act of 1965 was signed into law by President Lyndon B. Johnson on May 26th, 1965. This came after several protests including the peaceful march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama led by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., where hundreds of African Americans marched for their right to vote.
Remember to exercise your right to vote this Thursday, November 1st during your first period class, or stop by the voting booths outside of the main office where a member of StuCo can help you cast your vote and be sure to wear your red, white and blue!
