Today is an X day and outside recess
Plug in your CB so it is fully charged and ready to go after Thanksgiving break!
Advisory teachers, please make sure students are finishing their food and beverage before they leave your room. There is no food or drink allowed after advisory in any classroom.
There is NO CLC today. Students not attending homework zone will need to be picked up and off campus by 3:15. If you need to call your ride, please make a pass for the main office.

1st period classes, the competition is on for hitting our attendance goal for November! Your class’s current attendance percentage is posted in the Commons! Your class needs an average of 93% or better! Let’s go!!!
Reminder Quarter 2 incentive party is 3 or less OCMS for hot cocoa before winter break. Please remember you can reset your behavior in the ICM. This is a great chance to practice your coping strategies and reset your focus on learning. Your teacher will then check in with you to see if you are ready to return to your seat after a quick conversation.
Now is the time to put away your phone in a locked locker or chromebook bag. They do not belong in your pockets or your hands. We should not need to remind you 6-7 times!
Please check for any important messages from family members after school on your grade’s announcement boards. 6th grade will be posted at the 6th grade doors while 7th & 8th grade will be posted at the main doors.

On September 28, 1789, Just before leaving for recess, the first Federal Congress passed a resolution asking that the President of the United States recommend to the nation a day pf thanksgiving A few days later, President George Washington issues a proclamation naming Thursday, November 26, 1789 as a “Day of Public Thanksgiving” – the first time Thanksgiving was celebrated under the new Constitution.. Subsequent presidents issued Thanksgiving proclamations, but Thanksgiving was regularly commemorated each year on the last Thursday in November.
Fun Fact about Thanksgiving: The first Thanksgiving feast was in 1621 and lasted three days!
